Esther has been in Colorado for 20 years. She is the mother of 6 children, a community navigator and a lactation counselor with Cuenta Conmigo. She has over 15 years of experience as a home childcare provider. Her areas of work currently include the promotion of perinatal and infant mental health, public health community navigation, and lactation support to families. She likes to be involved in her community and mobilize and strengthen the impact of Spanish-speaking families through civic engagement.

Susana is the mother of three beautiful children and a community health worker. Her professional life started as an architect in Mexico, which can be seen in the way that Susy weaves projects, people, passions building a platform for community development. She has extensive experience mobilizing community, training teams, and developing outreach initiatives to bring health education and information to families. Susana’s dream is that all families and children have the information they need and the access they deserve to be healthy and happy.

Lucy is a community navigator, birth doula, and lactation counselor with over 10 years of experience advocating for community and families. She is a member of multiple councils where she shares the perspective of the Latino community, advocates for language access, and raises awareness on health equity and sustainable access to services. Lucy is detailed oriented, a lifelong learner, and a great listener. She inspires us all with her curiosity and creativity to solve challenges.

Cynthia is a community navigator, public health educator, and lactation counselor with over 10 years of experience serving families in the Latino community. She creates unique strategies to reach families and providers where they are, approaching her work with compassion and deep care. Her areas of current work include Family, Friend, and Neighbor (FFN) childcare providers training, facilitation of groups, infant and toddler nutrition project, and direct care through home visitation. Cynthia mobilizes teams of volunteers, inspires childcare providers, and identifies service gaps like no other presenting opportunities to everyone working alongside her.

Paulina is the mother of three children, a community developer, and a lactation consultant (IBCLC). With a background in organizational development, maternal child health, mental health, and community-based participatory projects she builds on community strengths and wisdom to create innovative solutions. Paulina holds a Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, a Masters in Science in Organizational Leadership and an is completing her PhD in Health and Behavioral Sciences. Paulina is able to translate science into community practices helping us build stronger strategies and methodologies that help our projects and contribute to the work of other organizations and partners. She delights in seeing children and parents connect and grow together.
